iMagic Software has released version 5.14 of iMagic Inventory, introducing a dedicated Stock Count feature for reconciling physical inventory against your records.
Balance physical inventory with Stock Count
The new Stock Count feature, under Inventory > Stock Count, records every change made during a counting session and produces a report. This makes it possible to track inventory discrepancies and include them in end-of-year accounting, where losses may be tax deductible. The previous stock count tool has moved to Inventory > Quick Stock Level Adjust for anyone who prefers the simpler option.
A preview for every invoice style
Document Styles now shows a preview for each invoice style, making it easier to choose the right one.
Refreshed screens and faster receiving
Several screens have been updated to the newer, more modern style, including the report view layout, and a new option hides the main toolbar for smaller devices. Inventory > Receive Stock now automatically updates an item’s purchase price when selected, and keyboard select has been added.
Fixes
This release fixes a number of reported issues, including null checks on database updates and Receive Stock, and fixes for inventory export with locations and inventory import with overwrite. The database has been updated to version 55.
Availability
Version 5.14 is available now to existing iMagic Inventory customers. From within the software, select Help > Check Web for Updates to install it.
