iMagic Software has released version 5.26 of iMagic Inventory, introducing an experimental cross-referencing feature and giving Vendor Reordering more flexible item numbering.
Send an item straight to its sales report
A new cross-referencing feature has been added to the inventory list: right-click an item to send it directly to the Item Sales Report. This is an early version of the feature, and iMagic Software is looking for feedback before extending it to other reports, exports and invoices.
Choose your own item numbers for vendor reordering
Vendor Reordering has been updated to use a new Vendor Item Number, letting you choose between your own internal numbering system or the vendor’s. This affects the Vendor Reorder Report.
Clearer setup diagnostics
Error messaging around database setup has been improved, after some users had trouble setting up the multiple PC edition. The updated diagnostics should make it easier to guide the setup process.
Availability
Version 5.26 is available now to existing iMagic Inventory customers. From within the software, select Help > Check Web for Updates to install it.
