iMagic Software has released version 5.30 of iMagic Inventory, adding the ability to record stock transfers between locations and a new way to keep order item searches focused on a default warehouse.
Record stock transfers between locations
A new option records the transfer of stock between locations, capturing the item name and number, the original and destination warehouse and location, the quantity transferred and the date. A new Stock Transfer Report, under Reports > Stock Transfer Report, shows this activity. The option can be enabled under Configure > Transfer Stock.
Filter order items to a Default Warehouse
A new User Access right, “Add Order Item - filter to Default Warehouse”, limits the items shown when creating an invoice or order to those located within a user’s assigned Default Warehouse. The option can be found under Configure > User Access.
Availability
Version 5.30 is available now to existing iMagic Inventory customers. From within the software, select Help > Check Web for Updates to install it.
