iMagic Software has released version 5.35 of iMagic Inventory, extending weight and volume tracking across receiving, invoices and reporting, and adding a custom picking list.
Weight and volume on receiving and invoices
Manual Receive Stock can now record the weight of items received, and invoices can show the Category of items added. The Custom Delivery Note has new tags for total weight, grand total weight and last weight received.
New weight and volume reports
This release adds several new reports: Weight and Volume by Warehouse and Received Date, by Location and Received Date, and by Category, each showing stock levels, item details, weight, volume and category alongside received dates.
New historical reports
Three new historical reports have been added: a Daily Summary of Transactions (date, name, quantity in/out, balance), Stock Weight by Location, and Stock Location – all searchable by date and item.
Faster receiving and picking
A new Custom Picking List option has been added, enabling the Manual Receive Stock option now seeds the database automatically with the current stock level as a starting point, and Reorder Item Details has new search options.
Fixes
This release also includes GUI updates for Windows 10 compatibility and various bug fixes, including backorder deletion, barcode scanning defaults and Custom Purchase Order rendering. The database has been updated to version 58.
Availability
Version 5.35 is available now to existing iMagic Inventory customers. From within the software, select Help > Check Web for Updates to install it.
