iMagic Software has released version 6.30 of iMagic Hotel Reservation, its desktop booking software for hotels, motels and guesthouses. The update renews the software’s security certificate and moves the “Send Database to iMagic Support” tool to a new server, keeping day-to-day operation and support requests running smoothly for existing customers.

Updates like this don’t add new screens or workflows, but they keep the program secure and connected to iMagic’s support systems, so features that depend on a valid certificate or a working support-upload tool continue to work without interruption.

A renewed security certificate

iMagic Hotel Reservation is now signed with an updated security certificate. Certificates like this expire periodically; renewing it prevents Windows and antivirus software from flagging the program as untrusted, and keeps automatic update checks working as expected. No action is required beyond installing v6.30.

A new server for support database submissions

The Help menu’s “Send Database to iMagic Support” option, used when the support team needs a copy of your database to diagnose an issue, now points to a new server. Customers who use this option will see no change in how it works, only where the file is sent.

Availability

Version 6.30 is available now to existing iMagic Hotel Reservation customers. From within the software, select Help > Check Web for Updates to install it.
